Title: IOR5E, receiving 4-20ma
Post by: LanceD on April 02, 2007, 11:28:09 AM
Hello,

I'm looking to have the IOR5E receive a 4-20ma signal. Is there any documentation on having the IOR5E accept a 4-20ma signal?

Thanks for your help,
Lance

with 250 ohm resitor you will have a great 0-5V current to voltage converter ...  :-D (with diagnostic! 0.0 V equal wire broken  )

Which inputs do I use for the resistor? I have used a resistor for different applications in the past.

Thanks,
Lance

Here are the components:

- Sensor with two wire, loop-powered 4-20 mA analog output.
- Sensor powered by external 10-24VDC source.
- IOR5E with Analog Inputs.

Goal:

- Convert the mA signal for the IOR5E to be able to read from the Analog Input.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
