Ethernet Boards (8-bit) / Sending not visible data over the ethernet
« on: February 24, 2008, 06:30:37 AM »
Hi,

I'm just learning how to use the SBC65, I have made some projects in the college with this board, its simply amazing what this SBC could do, but now I need help with this:  I need a program running in a normal computer connected to the LAN where the board will be, that can ask for a data stored in the memory of the board.  I have programed in VB 6(because I'm a little bit old  :|).  That is, how can I, with the IP address of the board, ask a specific data from the memory, and then, how can the board send this data that the program is asking for?

I know is a newbie question  :?, but I really don't know how to develop this. If somebody has a tutorial, an example, anything, will be really appreciated

Hi,

I'm using a LCD with hitachi controller, I have work with this kind of LCD in pics but with the PICC compiler, I want to know if somebody can help me with some method to display data and numbers in the LCD but with MCC18, thank you very much

Ethernet Boards (8-bit) / making a clock signal for other devices
« on: February 13, 2007, 02:31:36 PM »
Hi everybody,

I'm making a circuit with the sbc65ec and I need a constant frequency clock inside the PIC, no matter how much can be it's frequency, I just need the frequency keeps in a constant value

If somebody have example code, or have a easy way to explain it, will be much appreciated, thank you very much.

Ethernet Boards (8-bit) / Convert a variable from ram to rom
« on: February 13, 2007, 12:35:39 PM »
Hi, I'm working with the sbc65ec, and I have a question of the memory saving data

I'm trying to keep the data that came from portA, and save it as an string.  I convert the data with btoa, but I don't know how to save it in ROM, besides, look some code

Code: [Select]
char dato;  //define a ram char
char dato_Str[]; //define a ram char variable of undefined length
....

dato = puertoA;  //defined as the input of the port A
btoa(dato,dato_Str); //converts from char to string

Now, how can I keep this data in EEPROM? I already check in the documentation of microchip, but without any success
if somebody have some example code or a good manual reference, please, help me

thank you

Ethernet Boards (8-bit) / Problems with the upload of pages, please help
« on: January 31, 2007, 11:26:40 PM »
Hi everybody,
I'm trying to upload the web pages to the sbc65ec, but the network bootloader has the following error

425 Can't create data socket, Increase MAX_SOCKETS,

so, I search in the program in MPLAB how much sockets has the target, and it says 10 for the sbc65ec, so, I try to increase the number, but the compiler gaves me an error, in the linking part

If anybody knows what kind of problem is this, I'll appreciate your help.

Thank you very much :-D

Ethernet Boards (8-bit) / Use of GetVar and ExecuteCmd in the Ethernet
« on: January 12, 2007, 08:46:15 AM »
hi everybody, :-D

I'm working with the sbc65ec, I programmed the board and the html files, but I haven't received my target, my question is:  Can I use the metod GetVar to obtain a variable from the html file?  :? Look a the code:
/***************************************************
WORD HTTPGetVar(HTTP_INFO* httpInfo, BYTE* val)
{
           :
           :
           :
   if (varGroup == VARGROUP_MINE)
     {

                 My_Var= varValue;

         *val = '\0';
         Temp_flag=1;
         return HTTP_END_OF_VAR;

      }
      else if ((varGroup >= VARGROUP_PORTA) && (varGroup <= VARGROUP_PORTH))
//here, continue with the normal method
/***************************************************

If there's a easier way to do it, may be you can help me, I don't understand very well how to implemet the command cgi  or the implementation of the get metod, so I don't know if that's the better way

Thank you very much

Standard Parallel LCD Displays / lcd methods
« on: November 29, 2006, 07:30:58 PM »
Hi, Im working with the sbc65ec, I think it's really usefull, but I'm trying to display some result in a normal parallel lcd, with the controller hitachi...etc, and I tried to put the method of the xlcd.c, with the application maestro, but it has a conflict with the variables, because the webserver has the same variable (CLK_FREQ).  If somebody can help me with this, I'll really appresiate it

thank you
