General Questions / Modtronix Network Bootloader for SBC68EC, where to download?
« Last post by parotin on February 27, 2015, 01:20:42 PM »
Hello everybody,

This is my first post on the forum. I'm trying to find a solution and maybe somebody whould like to help me?
I bought a unit SBC68EC in 2006 I think, when I was finishing studies, and I made my project to get my diploma. After that I left everything in a drawer and dedicated to other things, nothing about electronics..
Now I need to manage just a relé as a starter for a AC generator, so I was still able to make an small hardware as a dougther board for my sbc68ec. My problem is that I can't change the web pages because the link to donwload the Network Bootloader doesn't work any more.
I also tryed with the version I used in 2006, but I was using a windows XP computer, seems like it doesn't work on my w 8.1
There is no link avalable  at the old website, and I can't find it anywhere else.

Is there any way to donwload a version for my SO?
Is possible to change the files in the memory of my sbc68ec with Netcruzer used for SBC66EC?

Thank you very much in advance

Wireless Modules / Re: inAir8 when? + range testing

Thanks for the reply I've forwarded your kind sample offer to a group who are doing flood monitoring in the UK. They have been using HopeRF and not getting the range they want. One of the reasons I'm very interested in your modules is your approach to design and commitment to quality.

Hello Lawrence, sorry for delay! Yes, the 868 MHz modules are ready. It turns out, the circuit for 868MHz and 915MHz is identical. See Semtech reference designs SX1276RF1IAS and SX1276RF1KAS, the 868 and 915MHz circuits are identical. I thought it might be a mistake in the circuit (BOM), but Semtech confirmed our (their) circuit is optimized for 868 and 915MHz.  This has been confirmed by Semtech, who reviewed our design. We have also tested 868 MHz on the inAir9, and works fine.

Would be great if you are willing to do range tests.  I can send some free samples if you agree to create a small forum post with results. Please provide your courier account and shipping details. As mentioned in previous post, many of the cheap SX1276 modules available have terrible ranges, use 2 layer boards (not RF/impedance optimized), and inferior components. We have a 4 layer PCB, approved by Semtech engineers, and only very high quality components.

Wireless Modules / inAir8 when? + range testing

Hi just wondering if you've got an update on 868 mhz version?
Also have you done any range testing with inAir9 can you share?
Also know someone who might be interested in doing 868 mhz testing.
They are not getting the range they want with the HopeRF module.

Dear David

I tried the Stack API instructions but these are beyond my understanding as i am new to programming, as long as i remember it was pretty simple in PHP. any way i would require your help in guiding me how to program this device in such a way that i get my analog values scaled as per my requirement.

Looking forward for  your support

Hello Atif, the display you are seeing is because the firmware and web pages do not match. You have to ensure that you upload the web pages that were created for the specific firmware you have on your board. Did you update the firmware on your board? And, please specify exactly where you got the webpages from.
