Question about frequency range.
« on: December 23, 2015, 12:16:44 AM »
Hi there, just a quick question about the inair9b modules,
I'm aware that they use the sx1276 chip and the datasheet for that says the frequency range is from 137 MHz to 1020 MHz but on your product page it only mentions 868MHz / 915MHz.
Are the modules locked to 868-915 or is it possible to use any of the frequencies mentioned in the SX1276 datasheet?

Got this reply via email from Modtronix:
The chip can work for that frequency range, but the circuitry is for 868 and 915MHz only. Each frequency range requires different values for the capacitors/inductors to match that frequency. For example, the inAir4 also uses the SX1276 chip, but has completely different value components to enable it to work at 433MHz.
