I am an emedded programmer contractor.  My background is in electrical engineering both analog and digital.  I'm good with a soldering iron, a scope, a logic analyzer but I'm a programmer at heart.  Almost all my projects involve hardware in some way and electrical engineers like me because when I find a problem, if it's in the hardware I don't just complain - I debug it down to the exact circuit.  I am very comfortable with schematics.

I also do web and sql programming (ajax - javascript php postgresql mysql) and also write good old fashioned applications on a regular basis.

Contact me by sending me a message (click on the 'letter' icon to the left of this post) is probably best or you can try through my website.

I need to make a standalone board to control RS485 camera. I need 6 buttons: zoom +/-, Focus +/-, Iris +/-. I wonder if any of you programmers here are familiar with this, and how much would it cost to write code for PIC chip? Please email quyentle at hotmail dot com, thanks.
